Whovians, assemble!

We all know that this fandom has a special talent for staying alive. It might be because the show, much like our beloved Doctor, had a tenancy to regenerate itself. Or maybe it's because we as fans are unable to let go of these fantastic characters and plots that we keep them all going just enough for this fandom to survive. Either way, the Whovians are not forgotten, and we will even get a new season soon, which is still something I am not used to.

In full disclosure, I was not sold on the idea of 'restarting' the show with the 15th Doctor, and definitely not sold on Disney taking over. But as more episodes and specials come out, I kind of like it and understand why the rebrand was so important. Does the rest of the fandom agree though? I am not sure.

While we wait for the second season to come out to decide, we can always go back to our good old Doctor Who, and enjoy the show as we fell in love with it, and that includes the brilliant Doctor Who memes waiting for you down below.

Much like every fandom, the love Whovians have for Doctor Who, in all it's shapes and colors, is complicated. Much like a family, we have moments we love and cherish, and we have moments we absolutely hate. But as soon as someone who is not part of the family starts to talk badly about it, we all are ready to defend it until the end, and that is beautiful (and a little crazy).
